Madrona Moose was founded in 2004 by Carrie Schei. Moose, a hidden gem tucked away in Seattle's Madrona neighborhood, is a one-of-a-kind children's boutique that harks back to times nostalgic. Moose carries truly unique children's clothing, toys, books and accessories. Beautifully designed with a vintage feel, this adorable store stocks everything from sweet dresses to classic wooden toys and beautifully illustrated children's books.

Regarding the name Moose... our brand is all about having fun and yet conjuring images of a vintage and sophisticated experience. Cute; Vintage; Elegantly Simple.

The Moose Mission is to find, source and offer beautifully designed, well-made children's clothing with a classic/vintage, yet stylish feel - along side vintage-feeling kids books, toys and accessories... all in an inspiring, warm and well-designed environment. Moose's children's merchandise is hard-to-find, often exclusive to the Moose, and sourced from Europe; but Carrie is also able to buy similar-feeling merchandise from the U.S. and elsewhere abroad. Our store is designed to be adorable, inviting and yet fun and eclectic enough in an effort to entice our customers to spend time with us, explore and come back. We always source our merchandise with an eye towards finding great values on unique kids merchandise. We built Moose with an eye towards providing the perfect place for our customers to browse and be inspired to find something unique for either their own children or a shower/birthday gift for grandchildren, nieces, nephews or for your friends' children.
